Specialized Training

Last week we held some specialized training with the mission.  President Pingree taught the missionaries about the Gathering of Israel.  The missionaries also received training in working with members, extending invitations to come to church, using referrals, car safety, companionship unity, etc.  Also, missionaries who will be leaving the mission in November had the opportunity to share their testimonies, which is always a highlight.   Please see some pictures from a pizza lunch below.  Another post will follow shortly with additional pictures.

Interviews

This week we held more interviews across the mission.  While President Pingree met individually with each missionary, Sister Pingree provided training on dinner etiquette and introduction skills and the Assistants provided training on daily planning.  Please find below some pictures from the week.

Interviews, Councils and Two New Arrivals

This week missionary interviews began in the College Station, Spring and Houston North Zones.  During interviews, missionaries received some training to help them become better planners.  They also brushed up on their table manners and introduction skills.  A zone leader council for October was also held this week.  A highlight was the arrival of Sisters Farmer and Fang from the SLC Temple Square Mission who will serve in Houston for the next three months.
