New Missionaries with Trainers

This week we held transfers in the Texas Houston Mission!  Ten wonderful missionaries went home and we received fourteen new missionaries from the MTC.  At this point, we only have the following pictures of our new missionaries with their trainers.  We hope to post all pictures from transfers shortly after we resolve an issue with our memory card.  Elder Englehart and Jumenez are not pictured below.  We were unable to catch them after the training meetings.

Specialized Training for Spanish-speaking Missionaries

Please enjoy a few pictures from a training held for Spanish-speaking missionaries which was held two weeks ago. We thank the good members of the local branch for providing a yummy lunch for the missionaries. 

THM Specialized Training for Sisters

This week we held a specialized training for our wonderful sister missionaries at the Louetta building.  The sisters received training in health, stress management and heard talks on the importance of optimism and their divine nature.  Each missionary shared ideas for maintaining unity in their companionships and also shared best proselyting practices.  We also enjoyed lunch, a small Christmas gift exchange and had a table where the sister missionaries brought unused clothing to exchange.  We thank Dr. Brinton, Sister Chappell, Sister Young and Sister Nance for helping us with the event.  The Texas Houston Mission is very blessed to have 28 dedicated, faithful sister missionaries.  Each one is very special and unique!
