Happy Day

It has been a relatively quiet week in the Texas Houston Mission as missionaries work to find those interested in learning about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.  President Pingree has been on the road all week helping missionaries and teaching with various companionships.  Unfortunately, he didn't bring a camera with him anywhere.  Because of this, I (Sister Pingree) chose to include my most recent mission miracle as our blog entry for the week.  Last Halloween, a beautiful family came to the mission home for treats.  Upon seeing this family, the Spirit impressed upon me that I needed to open my mouth and give them a Spanish copy of The Book of Mormon.  I also shared my thoughts and feelings and left them with my name and number in case they were interested in learning more.  A week later I received a phone call.  Yesterday, this wonderful family was baptized and joined the Church.  It was a special occasion for many and we thank the missionaries and Houston 6th Ward for their love and fellowship.   Please enjoy a few pictures taken at the baptism.
