New Missionaries July 5

July 5 all new missionaries were at the mission home for breakfast, some training then off to see the Houston Temple.  We then all drove over to the church for more training and to meet their new companions who would begin a 12 week training.  Everyone was excited to meet  We then enjoyed a lunch and opportunity to get to know one another, then more training and off to their new areas!

We Love Our Senior Missionaries

Toward the end of June we attended a dinner at President and Sister Broadbent's with all the senior missionaries.  We enjoyed a delicious dinner and a program which included a solo by Sister Hill and testimonies from the Robinsons, Wildings and the Perkins all who will be returning home within the next 2 months. We are blessed to have a lot of senior missionaries in the Texas Houston Mission!

Porque Yo Creo

Every other month we have a fireside titled "Why I Believe", this month we held it at the Spanish Stake center and all Spanish speaking missionaries were invited.  The fireside was well attended, 3 converts spoke and shared their testimony, all the music was in espanol, everything was in espanol!  President and Sister Peterson both spoke.  It was a great evening and all were edified.
