Mission Temple Days January 7-9, 2020
Each quarter the missionaries go to the Houston Temple. They get to spend an hour each week doing family history and are to take at least one name they have found themselves (no one should find a name and send it to them) and take the name to the temple to do all the ordinances. They love going to the temple and gaining a stronger testimony of family history and the blessings of service in the Holy Temple.
MLC January 7, 2020
The first Tuesday of each month we meet with the mission leadership for our Missionary leadership Council (MLC) We receive training by President and Sister Peterson (our Mission Leaders) and the assistants. We discussed our goals for January and set goals for February.

January 2, 2020 A New Year and New Missionaries
Thursday January 2 we had all 18 new missionaries over to the mission home for an early breakfast and some training before going to see the Houston Temple. The day was rainy. We then went to the church for more training and to meet their new companions. Everyone feels so much better when they are together!
18 New Missionaries have Arrived January 1, 2020
10 English speaking and 8 Spanish speaking missionaries arrived on New Years day. We ate a delicious dinner at the mission home while President Peterson interviewed all of them. We had a testimony meeting before retiring for bed.
Transfers December 31, 2019- January 2, 2020
12 missionaries went home, Elder Green, Elder Harvey, Elder Lindsey, Elder Williams, Elder Cline, Sister Woodward, Sister Hanson, Sister Leavitt, Sister Magnesen, Hermana Abraham, Hermana Hansen and Hermana Larsen.
We went to the temple early on December 31 as it was New Years Eve and the last endowment session was at 11 am. After the temple we came to the mission home for snacks and later dinner and a testimony meeting.
That evening we tried to sleep while listening to fireworks until 1:30 am!
Wednesday morning we had breakfast at the mission home and drove to the airport to say goodbye!
