Zone Conference February 7, 2018

We enjoyed our final zone conference.  President Bickman of the Tomball stake came to speak to us about working with ward and stake leaders.  We were also excited and happy to hear the Houston temple will open April 24, with a dedication on April 22!

Zone Conference February 6, 2018

I decided to post each day (3) of zone conference instead of all together.  Today we enjoyed zone conference with 4 of our 12 zones. Before conference began all  cars were inspected and they received training on car safety and apartments.    The missionaries were trained and counseled on Ether 12, obedience, technology safeguards, baptism, and how to work with ward and stake members. We invited Brother Hyde from one of the stakes to speak and counsel with us.  We enjoyed a nice lunch from the wonderful stake RS sisters after which we met with individual zones before coming back together to hear departing testimonies from 2 sisters who leave at the next transfer to go home.  We all enjoyed being together and were spiritually uplifted.

Back to the conference in the RS Room (we normally meet in the chapel however the smell from the cultural hall floor was too strong!)  We were able to open a door and windows in the RS room.
