This week we received 16 new missionaries from the MTC. Each seems excited and ready to serve! After picking them up at the airport, the missionaries attended an orientation held by the THM office staff at a nearby church. Afterwards they traveled to the mission home for health training, some relaxation and personal interviews with President Pingree. They then enjoyed a
Texas BBQ, followed by a new missionary fireside and dessert. The next morning they came back to the mission home for breakfast and then went to the Louetta building for transfers, new missionary training and lunch. Before heading to their assigned areas, new missionaries and their trainers attended a session at the beautiful, Houston Temple.
