Every 3 months the missionaries are able to attend the Houston Temple with their district. Each missionary is asked to bring a family name they have personally found while doing family history work each week. They are all allowed to work on family history for one hour a week. Missionaries are learning to love family history and are quite good at finding names sometimes with the assistance of a ward family history consultant. One missionary who returned home a few months ago told me he loves family history work and that his mother was going to be very surprised and happy!
