Transfer Time

This week we completed another transfer in the THM.  First we said farewell to 16 terrific missionaries who have served faithfully and will leave a gaping hole in this mission.  The departing missionaries participated in an employment workshop taught by the Bradys, lunch, interviews with President Pingree, a session at the Houston Temple, dinner and a fireside. On Wednesday morning we ate breakfast together and then left for the airport.  A few hours later, we returned to the airport to pick up 13 new missionaries fresh from the MTC - Sisters Bartholio, Hill, Villanueva and Elders Mitchell, Gardner, Hilton, Pauga, Anderson, Bradshaw, Cheney, Frandsen, McKnight, and Valdez.  After their arrival, these very tired missionaries endured training at the mission office, dinner and a fireside at the mission home.  After a good night of sleep, they came back for breakfast and then we went to the Louetta building for a transfer meeting, more training meetings and lunch.  We feel really good about this new group and know they will make significant contributions to the Lord's work here in the Houston area!  Please enjoy some pictures from transfers along with a few others from the week.
