It has been awhile since our last post and we apologize. The past two weeks have been extremely full. We held some specialized training sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The focus was a talk given by Elder Bednar where he talked about five basic requirements for
Becoming a Preach My Gospel Missionary:
1) Understand that they serve and represent Jesus Christ,
2) Are worthy,
3) Treasure up the words of eternal life,
4) Understand the Holy Ghost is the ultimate and true teacher and
5) Understand teaching is much more than talking and telling.
After watching a DVD of Elder Bednar's message, we held a discussion of things we can do individually and as a mission to become more powerful and effective missionaries. At the end, each missionary set personal goals for ways they can become more productive servants for the Lord. Unfortunately,
we forgot to bring our camera two of the three days, but did manage to get a few pictures from other events.
