Our January transfer began with an ice storm here in Houston! Outgoing missionaries came to the mission home and received information on self reliance taught by the Perkins, watched the news conference announcing President Nelson and the first Presidency, had interviews, lunch, dinner and a flight home on Wednesday! Wednesday missionaries met their companions and went to their areas. The new missionaries arrived later in the day on delayed flights and by Thursday were happy to meet their trainers, receive a lot of information and go to their new areas to begin their missionary service in the Texas Houston Mission. We are grateful to have them here and feel blessed as we get to know them and hear of miracles they will witness.
