Over a week ago, a senior missionary gathering was held at President and Sister Chappell's home. It was nice to be together to develop friendships and receive some training. President Pingree lead a discussion about helping others develop faith in Jesus Christ and various senior missionaries conducted training on topics such as developing relationships with local leaders, keeping our marriage/companionships happy and strong, maintaining good emotional and physical health, working with junior missionaries and finding spiritual satisfaction in temporal assignments. We also enjoyed a musical number from President Chappell and Sister Coogan, along with a sharing of testimonies. The THM is blessed to have absolutely terrific senior missionaries!
